Yanni Hufnagel drving force behind Nevada’s basketball program

Yanni Hufnagel is an all-american collegiate basketball coach. He has dreamed of coaching since he was kid, reading books on coaching. As a small child he would act out the plays with basketball figurines. Hufnagel first entered the sports industry by calling local games for his city’s public television network.

During his time at Cornell University, he was selected to be the school’s basketball manager. Following his time as the manager, he earned an internship with the NBA’s New Jersey Nets. The New Jersey Nets put Yanni Hufnagel in touch with Oklahoma and Coach Jeff Capel, who at the time was searching for a graduate assistant coach. Yanni Hufnagel visiting Oklahoma, where he was interviewed by Jeff Capel and immediately offered him the position.

Yanni Hufnagel left his job at Oklahoma in 2009 and was reccomended for the head coaching position at Harvard University. Harvard University unfortunately appointed Yanni Hufnagel as the volunteer assistant coach, which came with an unpaid intern’s salary. Right away, Yanni Hufnagel took to the streets recruiting the top-tier athletes from across the country.

Americans look to Yanni Hufnagel for his knowledge and experience in the basketball world. He has become so successful, that he will end up with his choice of jobs, including head coach or assistant coach positions. Yanni Hufnagel received his Bachelor’s Degree from Cornell University and later earned his Master’s Degree from Oklahoma.

Yanni Hufnagel has become so popular, that he has worked with some top-tier basketball programs from around the country including Cornell, Oklahoma, Harvard, Vanderbilt, California Berkeley and was just hired by Nevada. Yanni Hufnagel is best known for his stellar recruiting work. He is able to work with players and convince them to play for his program. Yanni Hufnagel continues to make Nevada one of the top-tier programs in the country.
